Abstract

The biography, professional activity, scientific and pedagogical heritage of the world-renowned mathematician of Ukrainian origin Georgy Voronoi and influence of his ideas on the development of several areas in modern science (analytic number theory, geometry of numbers, study of divergent series, spatial tessellations) are covered in the article. The chronology and content of international scientific conferences devoted to the scientist which were held in Kyiv are briefly displayed. The list of conferences proceedings is given.
