About the Journal
The electronic journal (since 2026) "Transactions of Institute of Mathematics of NAS of Ukraine" (ZPIM) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access aimed at publishing original research in all areas of mathematics, as well as in the history of mathematics and mathematics education. The journal is the oldest mathematical periodical in Ukraine, founded in 1934. In addition to regular research articles, the journal publishes conference proceedings and dissertations affiliated with Institute of Mathematics of NASU.

The annual volume of the journal consists of a single continuous issue. Individual sections are published in print at the end of the year.
ZPIM considers for preliminary review the following types of submissions:
- Research articles containing new original mathematical results presented in a complete and relatively self-contained manner. Such articles must include a concise survey of the problem in contemporary scientific literature, clearly and explicitly describing the main results of the submitted work and their distinction from those of other authors. The results should be presented in a way accessible to the broadest possible mathematical audience.
- Modern survey articles covering important research directions in pure and applied mathematics.
- Essays on the history of mathematics, practical applications of mathematical methods, and methodological developments in mathematics education.
- Collective monographs (special issues), which may in particular consist of conference proceedings.
- Monographs prepared on the basis of doctoral or candidate dissertations defended at Institute of Mathematics of NASU.
The submitted work should not been submitted elsewhere, and is not under consideration with any other publication. It should not include libellous, defamatory or unlawful statements. Permission has been cleared for any third party material included. When preparing the contribution, the authors must remember that ZPIM strongly supports the development of, and practical application of consistent ethical standards throughout the scholarly publishing community, that are in part included into the Ethical Rules of Scientists, accepted by NAS of Ukraine in April, 8, 2009.
Being under conisderation, the submitted manuscript is subject of a peer review by, at least, two independent referees, whose positive opinions are needed to accept by the corresponding Associate Editor who is personaly responsible for the accepted paper quality.
Indexing and Open Access
The journal follows an Open Access policy, ensuring free access to its content. It is indexed in the two most prestigious specialized mathematical databases: MathSciNet and zbMATH.
