Group classification of Schrodinger equations with variable mass

Abstract

Group classification of planar Schr\"odinger equations with position dependent mass is carried out. These equations are defined up
to two arbitrary functions which represent a mass and potential. Twenty one class of such equations with different symmetries have been classified.
These classes are defined up to the equivalence group which is the conformal group in two dimension Euclidean space.
