Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consid
    eration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The corresponding author is authorized by all co-authors to submit this manuscript.
  • The manuscript (or any part thereof) does not infringe any existing original or derivative copyrights.
  • The manuscript does not contain anything inappropriate, indecent, objectionable, or defamatory.
  • The initial submission of the manuscript must be made in PDF format. For the first submission, it is also strongly required to upload a cover letter in which the author proposes the appropriate journal section and suggests a responsible editor from the list of members of the Editorial Board who will organize the peer-review process and make the intermediate and final decisions.
  • After acceptance, the author will be required to provide the production files prepared in LaTeX format.
  • The manuscript must include:
    (a) for all authors: full name; postal address, e-mail address, and institutional affiliation;
    (b) the title of the manuscript;
    (c) an abstract (for articles written in Ukrainian, the abstract must be provided in both Ukrainian and English);
    (d) statements regarding:
    [i] conflict of interest,
    [ii] sources of funding, and
    [iii] contributions of the co-authors.

Author Guidelines

Language of Publication

The journal accepts manuscripts in Ukrainian and English.

Lenght

There are no restrictions on the length of the manuscript.

Section of the Journal

Your manuscript may be prepared for submission in any LaTeX style of your choice. However, please note that after the article is accepted for publication, it must be prepared using the ZPIM LaTeX style (the style files can be downloaded separately for Ukrainian-language and English-language submissions). 

The journal publishes the following categories of works:

  1. Original Research Articles

    • Research in all areas of mathematics.

    • History of Mathematics

    • Mathematics Education

  2. Survey Articles
    Articles summarizing the current state of research in a relevant area of mathematics.

  3. Collective Monographs (Special Issues)

  4. Monographs
    Extended studies presenting significant scientific and scientific-pedagogical results in the form of a completed work.

  5. Materials Based on Dissertation materials recommended for publication by academic councils.

 

Editorial policy and Ethical Principles

Submitted articles (results) must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration for publication in any other scientific journal. They must not contain defamatory or unlawful statements. Manuscripts must correspond to the scope of the journal, present original research results of the authors, and include abstracts and keywords in both Ukrainian and English.

The journal requires authors to obtain permission for the publication of any third-party materials.

The Editorial Board adheres to international standards of publication ethics, transparency, and peer review, including the recommendations of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Accordingly, authors are required to comply strictly with generally recognized international ethical standards when preparing their manuscripts, as partially reflected in the Code of Ethics of a Scientist adopted by the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on April 8, 2009.

All submitted materials undergo double-blind peer review. The decision on publication is made by the responsible member of the Editorial Board based on the reviewers’ reports and an assessment of scientific originality; this editor subsequently bears personal responsibility for the quality of the article accepted for publication.

The journal does not charge authors any publication fees.

Research papers

We accept research articles fitting the topic of the correponding issue.
