About the Journal
"Transactions of Institute of Mathematics of NAS of Ukraine" is a peer-reviewed, Open Access(*) journal devoted to the publication of original mathematical studies whose topic is somewhat associated with current research activities and projects of the leading mathematical institution in Ukraine, Institute of Mathematics of NASU.
The annular journal volume may include upto 6 issues (numbers), each of which is, as a rule, dedicated to a selected research scope and is handled by a group of experts consisting of a local team of Associate Editors (Members of Editorial Board) together, if necessary, with invited Guest-Editors. The themes of the perspective journal numbers are announced on the TRIM web-site before 6-12 months of their release.
The journal considers for the publication:
(1) Research papers, which contain a complete and relatively self-contained original mathematical contribution. A necessary component of those submissions is a short outline of the contemporary state-of-the-art, in which the authors are required to clearly state novelties, differences of the obtained results from those by the others in the modern scientific literature. The presented results must be understood by the broad mathematical community.
(2) Review papers, covering the important issues in pure and applied mathematics.
(4) As an exception, essays in the history of mathematics.
The submitted work should not been submitted elsewhere, and is not under consideration with any other publication. It should not include libellous, defamatory or unlawful statements. Permission has been cleared for any third party material included. When preparing the contribution, the authors must remember that the TRIM strongly supports the development of, and practical application of consistent ethical standards throughout the scholarly publishing community, that are in part included into the Ethical Rules of Scientists, accepted by NAS of Ukraine in April, 4, 2009.
Being under conisderation, the submitted manuscript is subject of a peer review by, at least, two independent referees, whose positive opinions are needed to accept by the corresponding Associate Editor who is personaly responsible for the accepted paper quality.
(*) Open Access (the full text of each article published is freely available to all readers). There are no publication fees.
