Abstract

In the paper, we construct and study the class of
continuous on $[0, 1]$ functions with continuum set of peculiarities.
Any function $f$ belonging to this class
is defined by the Engel series representation of its argument
and by special convergent series.
Conditions for $f$ to be a~Cantor-type singular function are found.
