On some qualitative aspects in an elliptic bounded problem on three bodies

Abstract

Within the framework of the elliptic restricted three-body problem, we find some specific features of motions of an infinitesimal particle. In particular, we establish that the particle can perform oscillatory motions relative to the rotational plane of the two remaining massive particles.
