The shadow problem for the ellipsoid of revolution

Abstract

It is proposed a new proof of the problem about shadow for the center of a sphere in the
three-dimensional space which is generated by the minimal number of closed (open) non-overlapping balls
with radiuses being less then radius of the sphere and with centers on it. It is considered generalization of the problem to spheroids also.
